Your next wedding enquiry might come from a couple’s AI agent
How Wedding Computer and Wedding Institute help vendors receive agent-assisted enquiries, with structured forms, public discovery and a practical booking demo.

Your next couple might love your work before they have visited your website. Their AI assistant could have found you, checked where you work, read your enquiry form and helped them put together a useful first message.
That is where personal agents are heading. Meta’s Muse, Grok Bot and OpenAI’s dot in ChatGPT can work across apps and use their own computers to carry out tasks. We expect couples to delegate more of their wedding research and admin to assistants like these.
For vendors, being ready means making your business understandable to an agent and giving it a reliable way to prepare an enquiry. You still need good information, thoughtful replies and a clear booking process.
What we have prepared
Wedding Computer now has a public interface for compatible couples’ assistants. Its eight tools cover vendor search, profiles, form definitions, validation, enquiry preparation and status, booking preparation, and shared availability.
Technically, those tools are available through MCP (Model Context Protocol) at /mcp/couples and A2A 1.0 (Agent-to-Agent) at /a2a. Browser tools using WebMCP can also discover, prepare and validate native forms.
Forms come from the same definitions your business uses: field types, required answers, choices, conditional questions and revisions. New public forms built with supported fields can become available without a separate software release. Signatures, payments, uploads and other browser-only steps hand back to the person.
Wedding Institute’s directory provides the discovery layer. Its public MCP endpoint at /mcp and browser tools offer five read-only operations for vendors, categories, locations and capabilities. Profiles are available as HTML and Markdown, with enabled form capabilities and declared service coverage. Enquiries and booking handoffs go through Wedding Computer.
Vendors can also add Wedding Computer’s generated links and widget to their own website. These point to the current capabilities they have chosen to publish.
These interfaces are available today; we have not independently verified integrations with each named assistant.
A small demo
Imagine a couple asks:
Find a celebrant who serves New Zealand and works in English. Our wedding is on 31 October 2027. Read their enquiry form, ask us for anything missing, and prepare it for our review.
- Discover: the assistant finds a participating vendor and reads their declared countries, languages and public forms. Availability is only exposed when the vendor enables sharing; a result does not reserve a date.
- Prepare: it retrieves the current form, gathers missing answers and calls
validate_form. Thenprepare_enquirycreates a review link that expires after an hour. Preparing it sends nothing to the vendor. - Approve: the couple signs in with the verified email used in the enquiry, checks the answers and recipients, and approves. The server rechecks the form revision and vendor’s participation. A changed or withdrawn form requires a fresh review.
- Continue: the approved enquiry enters the normal CRM and notification workflow, marked as agent-assisted. For booking,
prepare_bookingreturns a link to the ordinary browser process for the couple to complete the necessary agreement, signature or payment steps.
What vendors need to do
In Wedding Computer settings, look for Enquiries through AI assistants. Participating vendors need an active Pro subscription and a directory listing. Enable agent-assisted enquiries, declare service languages and countries, and select any additional public forms to expose.
Use language tags such as en-NZ and country codes such as NZ, or * for worldwide service. These describe where and how you work; they do not automatically translate your form labels.
Public enquiry access is included with Pro. The separate private CRM assistant requires Pro plus the AI add-on.
Try the flow with an email address you control. The useful test is simple: does the assistant understand your form, gather the right details and hand the couple a clear review? That is the foundation for welcoming their agents into your business.
